From as far back as I can remember I have been around the world of recovery. It all started when I would go out with my dad in his heavy recovery trucks from a young age, right up to leaving school it was then that I was out there helping and experiencing recovery life. I was working the old school recovery trucks from the likes of Holmes 600 then on to the 750. Once I had left school I joined my dad officially in his recovery business where I started my apprenticeship in motor vehicle mechanics and also starting to drive the small trucks ( spec lift, flat beds etc) as well as being out in the heavy trucks learning the trade. From there came my HGV licence and time for me to venture out on my own recovering all types of commercial vehicles.
As dads company grew, I experienced and helped secure the Police contract for both heavy and light vehicles. Recovering anything from a motorcycle to a fully loaded tanker. Helped secure contracts between customers and taking on new and more responsibilities for the business. From there my responsibilities accelerated learning accounts, contracts, customer relations and managerial skills. All the foundation blocks to build the foundations for the company. I have driven thousands of miles with various vehicles on tow, from cars, vans, coaches, HGV’s and ADR. Facing and completing challenges of up righting trucks to their wheels from ditches to the largest of trucks being winched, plucked and unrooted from narrow lanes against all odds and never failed to get the job done!
THEN BOOM!! To the present day I’ve broken away from the restraints of a family partnership, to go into business with my lifelong partner beside me. Creating a new fresh company. It’s time to bring back real values with a personal touch. A 24hr roadside, recovery and mechanical assistance with over 26yrs experience. Fully IVR trained staff, licenced, insured, certificated and PAS43 accredited.
